About The Position

Tommy Bahama is seeking a temporary Sales Associate to represent the brand and provide guests with knowledgeable, professional service. The role includes helping guests find merchandise suited to their needs, sharing product knowledge and recommendations, communicating brand programs and events, and contributing to store sales and service goals. Associates participate in store-related meetings and collaborate with the team to create a welcoming shopping experience.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of guest and sales experience.
• A get-things-done mindset.
• Ability to collaborate, identify opportunities, and take initiative.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to lift and/or move approximately 50 pounds frequently.
• Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling.
• Occasional ladder climbing.
• Ability to stand routinely for the duration of a shift, up to 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and help them locate or obtain merchandise based on their needs and preferences.
• Learn, reference, and share current product knowledge; provide prompt recommendations, fit and fashion advice, and suggestions for add-on items.
• Inform guests about brand direction, current marketing programs, and upcoming events.
• Participate in store-related meetings and work toward sales and service performance goals set by store management.
• Perform other duties as required to support the business.
