About The Position

The Sales Associate helps establish LensCrafters as a premier destination for vision needs by delivering a high-quality eye care and eyewear experience to every patient and customer. The role supports sales objectives, recommends lenses and coatings using optical prescriptions, and assists customers in selecting frames and vision solutions. The associate also contributes to a positive and inclusive store environment and maintains attractive, clean, and organized displays and inventory.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of experience in retail or customer service.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, computers, and calculators, along with basic phone and math skills.
Ability to embrace new technology and change while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Ability to sell using sales skills and accountability for results, with a desire to meet goals.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Self-motivation and demonstrated ability to multitask and respond flexibly in a quickly changing environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver sales plans and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
Use optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
Assist patients with frame selection and coordinate frames with optical measurements to help customers choose appropriate vision solutions.
Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with an Optician as needed.
Contribute to a positive store environment and build professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
Maintain the appearance of the store and keep displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
Support an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
