About The Position

The Sales Associate provides quality customer service and drives product sales. This role requires knowledge of the products in each store area or department, adherence to company policies and visual standards, and full promotion of sales and promotions. As an ambassador for the organization and brand, the Sales Associate creates a distinctive customer experience that helps acquire and retain customers. The role also supports daily store operations and promotes merchandise.

Requirements

0–2 years of customer service experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter with initiative to take on important tasks without being asked.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks accurately.
Team player who is passionate about outstanding customer service and selling merchandise.

Responsibilities

Provide extraordinary customer service, including welcoming customers and assisting multiple customers during peak periods.
Promote and sell the organization's services and merchandise.
Set goals to develop selling skills and track overall sales.
Follow company policies, procedures, and standards described in manuals and company communications.
Assist with daily store operations, including work lists, cleanup lists, weekly shipments, and store maintenance.
Present merchandise to promote and sell products, using guidance from the product knowledge manual.
Meet or exceed sales targets and goals.
Identify and communicate merchandise needs, pricing concerns, and operational problems to store management.
Attend store staff meetings and technology clinics.
Protect company assets and financial information by following internal control procedures and reporting potential fraud risks.
