About The Position

J.Jill is seeking a passionate, customer-focused, results-driven Part-Time Sales Associate to build customer relationships and provide a welcoming, positive shopping experience in the store and community. The role involves personalized service and styling advice, helping customers find products, and supporting sales goals. Associates develop knowledge of J.Jill merchandise and contribute to store operations, visual standards, and a positive team environment.

Requirements

• Passion for fashion, styling, and creating a welcoming customer experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Ability to perform extensive standing, walking, reaching, bending, pushing and pulling, maneuvering around the store, hanging and folding merchandise, and climbing ladders.
• Ability to operate POS registers and other company mobile devices.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds and participate in joint/team lifting.

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful connections with customers by providing personalized service and styling advice.
• Help customers find suitable products and provide a seamless, enjoyable shopping experience while contributing to sales goals.
• Develop a strong understanding of J.Jill merchandise to provide guidance and recommendations.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and execute floor sets.
• Participate in operational functions, including marketing, product processing and replenishment, markdowns and promotions, store cleanliness, and backroom organization.
• Work with team members to create a positive and supportive work environment.
• Address customer needs and concerns with a friendly, solution-oriented approach.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to help the store succeed.
