About The Position

PHOENIX Retail, LLC is hiring a Retail Sales Associate for Express at the Coastland store. The Sales Associate provides a great in-store shopping experience while also helping with stocking, cleaning, folding merchandise, and other store tasks. The role includes maintaining safe, clean, and organized sales and back-of-house areas; supporting product launches; processing transactions; resolving customer service issues; and promoting credit and loyalty programs. Other essential functions may be assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of relevant job experience, with a minimum of 6 months.
• Proficiency using technology such as iPads and registers.
• Availability that meets defined criteria, including nights, weekends, and non-business hours.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role.
• Customer service skills and ability to interact with customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly with customers, the sales leadership team, and associates.
• Collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, checkout, fitting room, and stock room so the store is safe and inviting to customers.
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure the safety of associates and customers.
• Assist with product launch changes according to company standard operating procedures.
• Deliver all aspects of the customer experience model.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately to reduce customer wait times.
• Resolve customer service issues as they arise, determine a resolution or escalate them, and communicate issues and resolutions to Store Management.
• Explain the benefits of credit and loyalty programs and encourage customer participation.
• Assist with stocking, cleaning, and folding merchandise.
• Perform other essential functions as directed by a supervisor.
