About The Position

GNC Sales Associates provide a customer-focused shopping experience by learning about customers’ needs and goals and recommending suitable products. They welcome customers, advise and sell products, and represent GNC’s “Live Well” message. When not assisting customers, they restock products, maintain visual merchandising, fulfill online orders, and perform cleaning duties. This is a part-time hourly position. Sales Associates support store management with store operations, including opening and closing, cash handling, inventory counts, deposits, and maintaining the store’s appearance. The role requires a flexible schedule, including nights or mornings, weekends, and major U.S. holidays when the store is open. The physical environment includes standing or walking for extended periods, frequent reaching and bending, lifting and pushing/pulling items, working in temperatures from 50 to 85 degrees, and using a computer for up to 60% of the day.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work varied hours and days to meet store needs, including nights or mornings, weekends, and major U.S. holidays when the store is open.
• Ability to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day.
• Ability to frequently reach, bend, twist, and perform repetitive hand-to-finger motions.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds, and to push or pull up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders and reach and bend.
• Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 50 to 85 degrees.
• Ability to use a computer for up to 60% of the workday.

• Greet and welcome customers and create a welcoming store environment.
• Interact with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products using product knowledge.
• Work toward and exceed store and personal sales and productivity goals.
• Fulfill online orders accurately and promptly in accordance with company guidelines.
• Learn product features, advantages, and benefits, and stay informed about nutritional, wellness, and fitness news.
• Restock products, maintain visual merchandising, and perform cleaning duties.
• Support store management with opening, closing, and store operations, including cash handling, inventory counts, and deposits.
• Maintain the store’s appearance and promote GNC’s “Live Well” message.
