About The Position

As a Sales Associate, you are at the heart of the Pet Care Center experience. You help pet parents find suitable products and solutions for their pets while creating a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment. The role is suited to someone who enjoys helping others, learning about pet care, and working with a team in a fast-paced retail environment.

The position includes customer service and sales, cashiering, store operations, merchandising, inventory replenishment, and supporting animal health and safety. It is performed in a Pet Care Center retail environment with active engagement on the sales floor. Flexible availability is required to support store operating hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The role involves frequent standing and walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting, including safely moving merchandise, supplies, or animals weighing up to 50 pounds. Employees may work near animals and be exposed to animal dander, odors, noises, and cleaning chemicals. Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities.

Requirements

• Passion for animals and interest in pet care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and comfort handling cash and transactions.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to safely lift and move merchandise, supplies, or animals weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible availability to support store operating hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

• Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Support store sales and service goals and daily operational routines.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
