About The Position

As a Sales Associate, you are the first face of the Carter’s brand for growing families. You help customers celebrate milestones and find products for their parenting journey, from baby essentials to back-to-school needs. You work in a welcoming and inclusive retail environment, helping customers and contributing to a positive shopping experience.

Requirements

Positive, solutions-oriented mindset.
Demonstrated customer service and customer engagement skills.
Effective, professional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

Welcome customers warmly and assist them with product styles, features, and benefits.
Proactively resolve customer issues and assist multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
Assist customers with omnichannel services as needed to support a positive shopping experience.
Execute and expedite point-of-sale/register transactions.
Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
Explain current promotions and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
Help minimize store loss through exceptional customer service and by maintaining a safe, clean store.
