About The Position

Jenni Kayne is a California-based lifestyle brand focused on an elevated approach to everyday living. The Seasonal Part-Time Sales Associate supports store sales and operations by providing welcoming customer service, building client relationships, processing transactions, maintaining displays and inventory, and participating in store events. The role also promotes Jenni Kayne Rewards and the brand’s social media platforms, communicates business feedback and daily recaps to management, and helps protect company assets. The hourly pay rate is $22.00, determined by experience, education, skills, and location.

Requirements

• At least 1–2 years of retail sales experience.
• A can-do attitude and commitment to excellent customer service.
• Availability and willingness to work during peak business periods, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge and experience with point-of-sale and inventory management systems, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
• Comfort working in a team environment.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects weighing 20 pounds or more from time to time.

• Experience in women's upper contemporary, multi-label, or luxury designer retail.

Responsibilities

• Maximize sales and provide friendly, welcoming customer service.
• Communicate with customers to determine their needs.
• Build client relationships and maintain an updated client book.
• Drive sales through consignments and partnerships with interior designers and wardrobe stylists.
• Handle point-of-sale transactions, including sales, exchanges, refunds, gift cards, and gift wrap.
• Support store operations, including maintaining displays, assisting with stock transfers, and receiving new merchandise.
• Participate in store events.
• Encourage customers to sign up for Jenni Kayne Rewards and engage with the brand on social media.
• Share feedback with management and write daily business recaps.
• Secure company assets through loss prevention in compliance with company policies and guidelines.
