About The Position

PHOENIX Retail, LLC operates the Express and Bonobos brands. Express is a multichannel apparel brand offering modern, confident and effortless styles for work, everyday wear and special occasions. The Sales Associate joins the Express team at the Riverside Park store and provides customers with a great in-store shopping experience while supporting store operations, including stocking, cleaning and folding merchandise.

The role helps keep the sales floor, checkout, fitting room and stock room clean, organized, safe and inviting. Associates follow company policies and procedures, assist with product launch changes, process transactions, respond to customer service issues, and promote credit and loyalty programs. The position requires customer interaction, collaboration with the team and availability for nights, weekends and non-business hours.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of relevant job experience; the posting lists 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency with technology, including iPads and registers.
• Availability that meets defined criteria, including nights, weekends and non-business hours.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role.
• Customer service skills and ability to interact with customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly with customers, sales leadership and associates.
• Demonstrated collaboration skills and ability to work well within a team.

• Previous retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized, safe and inviting sales floor, checkout, fitting room and stock room.
• Follow company policies and procedures to support the safety of associates and customers.
• Assist with product launch changes according to company standard operating procedures.
• Deliver all aspects of the customer experience model.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately to reduce customer wait times.
• Resolve customer service issues positively, determine an appropriate resolution or escalate the issue, and communicate issues and resolutions to Store Management.
• Promote credit and loyalty member programs by explaining their benefits and encouraging customer participation.
• Perform other essential functions as directed by a supervisor.
• Assist with stocking, cleaning and folding merchandise.
