About The Position

As a Sales Associate, you will be the first face of the Carter’s brand for growing families. You will help customers discover products for babies and young children and support them through moments such as welcoming a new child and preparing for a first day of school. You will work in a welcoming and inclusive retail environment, providing product guidance and creating a positive shopping experience. The role includes customer service, omnichannel assistance, point-of-sale transactions, replenishment, and shipment tasks. Availability may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Requirements

• A positive, solutions-oriented mindset.
• Demonstrated customer service and customer engagement skills.
• Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
• Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Proactively resolve customer issues and assist multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Assist with omnichannel needs to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point-of-sale/register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment as needed.
• Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Help minimize store loss through exceptional customer service and by maintaining a safe, clean store.
