Sales Associate (Brick Specialist) - Cincinnati, OH
About The Position
The LEGO Group is hiring a seasonal, part-time Brick Specialist to deliver engaging retail experiences in a LEGO store in Cincinnati, Ohio. The role involves welcoming guests, operating the cash register, maintaining an inviting and safe sales floor, and supporting stockroom operations. Associates are expected to communicate effectively with guests and teammates, provide hands-on experiences that encourage imagination and creativity, and work varied hours, including nights and weekends as business needs dictate. Tasks are assigned by the floor leader on duty. The position may become a regular role for excellent performers.
Requirements
- Communicate effectively with team members and guests.
- Process information and merchandise through the register system.
- Work various hours, days, nights, and weekends as business dictates.
- Freely access all areas of the store, including the sales floor, stock areas, register areas, and loading dock.
- Be able to move, talk, hear, reach, grab, and stand for at least two consecutive hours.
- Be able to lift at least 30 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and provide professional, friendly, gracious, and engaging service.
- Perform all cash register functions and process information and merchandise through the register system.
- Perform daily cleaning duties and maintain a clean, safe, and visually stimulating store environment.
- Maintain store displays and learn and execute LEGO Brand Retail visual standards.
- Assist with receiving merchandise and operate and maintain the stockroom safely and efficiently.
- Follow stockroom standards and safety regulations, and notify management of potential shortages.
- Communicate effectively with team members and guests.
