About The Position
Sunglass Hut is seeking a Sales Associate to provide customers with an authentic, engaging shopping experience and help them find premium-quality eyewear. The role involves meeting sales targets, building customer relationships, offering tailored eyewear recommendations, and contributing to a supportive and inclusive store environment. The associate helps keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing while using technology accurately to support customer service and transactions. Retail or customer-service experience is a plus; enthusiasm for helping customers, sales, eyewear, and fashion is valued. This is a seasonal/temporary position at the Sunglass Hut Macy’s location in Flushing. The stated pay range is $16.00–$21.58. Employees may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan. Requirements
- Enthusiasm for helping customers and creating positive experiences.
- Communication skills to engage customers and support sales.
- Comfort using technology and maintaining accuracy with transactions.
- Interest in eyewear and fashion trends, and ability to help customers find a suitable look.
- Self-motivation, resilience, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to learn.
- Retail or customer-service experience is a plus.
