About The Position

Soma is an intimate apparel brand focused on comfort, confidence, and empowering women. The Sales Associate is the welcoming face of a customer-centered store environment and helps create a hospitable experience by building genuine customer connections, sharing product knowledge, and providing personalized service. The role also supports store performance, merchandising, inventory replenishment, organization, and brand presentation. This is a temporary, part-time position at Store 5318-Trenholm Plaza in Columbia, South Carolina.

Requirements

• Passion for the brand, fashion, and empowering confidence.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• A team-player mindset with a high level of ownership and initiative.
• Ability to quickly learn new processes and tools.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be at least 16 years old in AZ, GA, ID, IL, KS, MS, MO, MT, ND, NV, OK, SD, TX, UT, and VA; must be at least 18 years old in all other states.
• Ability to bend, reach, and stretch for products; maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom; operate the register; and lift or carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a customer-centered experience that reflects the company’s culture of hospitality.
• Initiate authentic conversations with customers to understand their needs and provide personalized service.
• Use available tools to create a seamless omnichannel experience.
• Educate customers about the benefits of brand loyalty programs.
• Contribute to overall store performance by staying accountable to personal goals.
• Assist store leaders with merchandising, inventory replenishment, and store organization.
• Maintain a visually inspiring store environment that reflects brand standards.
• Contribute to a positive work environment through teamwork and collaboration.
