About The Position

Tommy Bahama is hiring a temporary Sales Associate to represent the brand and its seasonal styles while creating a welcoming, relaxed shopping destination. The associate greets guests, helps them find merchandise suited to their needs, shares product knowledge and recommendations, and provides professional service. The role also promotes the brand’s marketing programs and events and participates in store meetings to support sales and service goals set by store management. Other duties may be assigned as needed to support the business.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of guest and sales experience.
• A “get things done” mindset.
• Ability to collaborate, identify opportunities, and take initiative.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently.
• Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling; occasional ladder climbing; and standing for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Ability to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and help locate or obtain merchandise based on their needs and preferences.
• Learn and share current product knowledge and provide recommendations, including fit and fashion advice and suggested add-ons.
• Communicate the brand’s direction and inform guests about current marketing programs and upcoming events.
• Participate in store-related meetings and work toward sales and service performance goals set by store management.
• Perform other duties as required to support the business.
