About The Position

As a Sales Associate, you are the first face of the Carter’s brand for growing families. You welcome customers, introduce them to products for babies and young children, and help them find items for important moments in their parenting journey. You work in a welcoming and inclusive retail environment and help deliver a positive shopping experience through customer service, product knowledge, and store operations.

Requirements

• Positive and solutions-oriented mindset.

• Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
• Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Proactively resolve customer issues and assist multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Assist with omnichannel needs to support a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point-of-sale/register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
• Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Help minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
