About The Position

PHOENIX Retail, LLC is hiring a Sales Associate for Express at the Pittsburgh Outlets. The role provides a great in-store shopping experience while supporting store operations, including stocking, cleaning, and folding merchandise. Associates maintain clean and organized sales, checkout, fitting-room, and stock-room areas; follow safety policies and procedures; and assist with product-launch changes according to company SOPs. They deliver the customer experience, process transactions accurately and efficiently, resolve or escalate customer-service issues while keeping Store Management informed, and promote credit and loyalty programs. Other essential functions may be assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of relevant job experience; the posting states 0–2 years of experience.
• Proficiency with technology such as iPads and registers.
• Availability that meets defined criteria, including nights, weekends, and non-business hours.
• Ability to meet the position’s physical requirements.
• Ability to interact with customers and provide customer service.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly with customers, sales leadership, and associates.
• Collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide a great in-store shopping experience for retail customers.
• Support store tasks such as stocking, cleaning, and folding merchandise.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and inviting sales floor, checkout, fitting room, and stock room.
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure associate and customer safety.
• Assist with product-launch changes according to company SOP.
• Deliver on all aspects of the customer experience model.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately to reduce customer wait time.
• Resolve customer service-related issues or escalate them as appropriate, and communicate issues and resolutions to Store Management.
• Explain credit and loyalty program benefits and encourage customer participation.
• Perform other essential functions as directed by a supervisor.
