About The Position

The Sales Associate’s primary function is to sell and promote Cubavera merchandise by executing Cubavera customer service standards. Duties include greeting customers, helping them find products or showing them how to use them, and processing purchases at the POS register. Perry Ellis International, Inc. represents a diverse portfolio of lifestyle apparel brands, including Cubavera. Cubavera’s modern, tropical-inspired collection translates the joy of Hispanic culture into fashionable apparel.

Responsibilities

Interact with customers in a courteous and friendly manner, including maintaining eye contact and smiling.
Generate maximum sales potential in accordance with Cubavera customer service standards.
Build a repeat customer base through Loyalty Program data capture.
Maintain strong knowledge of products, promotions, and special events to communicate effectively with customers.
Foster a positive store experience by treating customers and staff members fairly and consistently.
Maintain effective floor coverage, acknowledge every customer, and prioritize customers over assigned tasks.
Remain productive throughout the shift by replenishing products, maintaining visual displays, and engaging with customers during idle time.
Report to work on time.
Demonstrate flexibility with the schedule.
Understand individual and store sales goals.
Follow all operational policies and procedures.
Follow management guidance to execute visual standards, recovery, and replenishment.
