About The Position

Tommy Bahama is seeking a Sales Associate to represent the brand and help create a welcoming, island-inspired shopping experience. The role involves greeting guests, helping them find merchandise suited to their needs, sharing product knowledge and styling advice, and providing professional service. Associates also communicate brand direction and information about marketing programs and events, participate in store meetings, and work toward sales and service goals set by store management. Other duties may be assigned as needed to support the business.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of guest and sales experience.
• A High School diploma or GED.
• A get-things-done mindset.
• Ability to collaborate, identify opportunities, and take initiative.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently.
• Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling; occasional ladder climbing; and routine standing for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Willingness to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and help them locate or obtain merchandise based on their needs and preferences.
• Learn, reference, and share current product knowledge; offer recommendations, fit and fashion advice, and add-on suggestions.
• Communicate brand direction and inform guests about current marketing programs and upcoming events.
• Participate in store-related meetings and work toward sales and service goals set by store management.
• Perform other duties as required to support the business.
