About The Position

NORMAN’S is seeking a part-time Sales Associate for its Providence Village Shopping Center location in Aldan, Pennsylvania. NORMAN’S is an employee-owned Hallmark Gold Crown retailer focused on helping customers express emotions, celebrate occasions, find comfort, and share everyday moments. Sales Associates contribute to store goals by providing a memorable, genuine customer experience and helping create a caring team atmosphere. They are a primary source of information for customers on the sales floor and are expected to show initiative, work as part of a team, and deliver excellent service.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
Ability to work a flexible schedule that meets business needs, including events, holidays, evenings, and weekends.
Strong aptitude for basic math, including percentages and general arithmetic.
Ability to continuously stand and walk; frequently push and pull; occasionally bend, stoop, crawl, reach above the shoulders, kneel, and climb a ladder; and carry up to 40 pounds, such as fixture parts and cartons.

Responsibilities

Use the Customer CARE program to drive retail sales by connecting genuinely with customers, building relationships, and earning their business.
Prioritize the customer in all business interactions.
Consistently meet store-specific Crown Rewards enrollment goals.
Learn and efficiently use the register system, ensuring a pleasant point-of-sale experience and accurate cash-register transactions.
Use selling skills during customer interactions to build sales and customer satisfaction.
Learn product knowledge for all merchandise and apply it when assisting customers.
Maintain and restock displays as directed by store management.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
