About The Position

The Part-Time Sales Associate drives sales and customer relationships through strong customer service and selling techniques. The role performs daily store functions, including product merchandising and sales, customer relations, and store maintenance. Customer service, sales, and teamwork are central to the position. The associate helps customers find appropriate merchandise, supports shipments and restocking, follows visual standards and company policies, and helps maintain an organized sales environment.

Requirements

• Excellent command of English for effective communication with management, customers, and coworkers.
• Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and a desire to work with customers in a retail setting.
• Problem-solving and analytical abilities, attention to detail, flexibility, communication skills, and interpersonal skills to support customer service, inventory control, merchandise transport, and store maintenance.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility.
• Reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail or customer service work experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Use fashion and trend knowledge to identify customer needs and sell appropriate merchandise while maintaining DTLR standards and building customer relationships.
• Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
• Provide customers with a positive, energetic, and outgoing impression and maintain an enthusiastic attitude toward the job and company.
• Comply with company policies.
• Participate in service training and product programs.
• Follow visual standards, complete daily restocking, and maintain adequate size runs according to visual directions.
• Assist in preventing employee and customer theft.
• Help maintain a neat, orderly, and organized sales environment as directed by store management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
