About The Position

The Sales Associate provides quality customer service and drives product sales. This role requires knowledge of the store’s product areas, adherence to policies and visual standards, and active promotion of sales and merchandise. The Sales Associate represents the organization and brand by creating a distinctive customer experience and helping acquire and retain customers. The position also supports daily store operations, including work lists, cleanup, shipments, and maintenance. The Sales Associate communicates merchandise and operational concerns to store management, attends staff meetings and tech clinics, and helps protect company assets and financial information. This role has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

0–2 years of customer service experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter with initiative to take on important tasks without being asked.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks accurately.
Team player with a passion for outstanding customer service and selling merchandise.

Responsibilities

Provide extraordinary customer service, including assisting customers as they enter the store and serving multiple customers during peak periods.
Promote and sell the organization’s services and merchandise.
Set goals to improve selling skills and track overall sales.
Follow company policies, procedures, and standards in applicable manuals and company communications.
Assist with daily store operations, including work lists, cleanup lists, weekly shipments, and store maintenance.
Present merchandise to promote and sell products, using guidance from the product knowledge manual.
Achieve or exceed sales targets and goals.
Identify and communicate merchandise needs, pricing concerns, and operational problems to store management.
Attend all store staff meetings and tech clinics.
Protect company assets and financial information by following internal control procedures and reporting potential fraud risks to management or appropriate officials.
