About The Position
The Sales Associate in the Apparel department assists customers throughout the retail store, with a primary focus on providing excellent customer service. Duties may include greeting customers, cashiering, answering product-related questions, product assembly, general housekeeping, and other tasks assigned by a manager. Knowledge of and interest in clothing, footwear, and accessories is preferred. The position is based in a retail store environment with cold and warm conditions and an irregular work schedule. The role requires frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds, long periods of standing, and frequent bending and twisting. Reasonable accommodations may be considered for individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assist with customer service questions.
- Price merchandise and make price changes as requested by store management.
- Stock and face merchandise on shelves as requested by store management.
- Assist with receiving freight and organizing incoming products as directed by store management.
- Assist with cycle counts.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and handle them appropriately.
- Handle customer transactions using the KCX cash register system.
- Handle cash accurately.
- Handle customer returns.
- Perform housekeeping duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
