About The Position

As a Sales Associate, you are the first face of the Carter’s brand for growing families. You welcome and assist customers as they shop for baby essentials, children’s clothing, and products for important family moments. You work in a welcoming and inclusive retail environment and help create a positive shopping experience by providing product guidance, resolving customer issues, supporting omnichannel shopping, processing transactions, replenishing merchandise, and maintaining a safe, clean store. Availability may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Requirements

• Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
• Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and assist them with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Proactively resolve customer issues and assist multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Support customers with omnichannel shopping as needed to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point-of-sale and register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
• Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Help minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
