About The Position

The Sales Associate’s primary function is to sell and promote Original Penguin merchandise by executing the brand’s customer service standards. Duties include greeting customers, helping them find products or explaining how to use them, and ringing up purchases at the POS register. The role also involves maintaining product and promotion knowledge, supporting store sales goals, keeping the sales floor productive and well-presented, and following operational and visual standards.

Responsibilities

Interact with customers in a courteous and friendly manner, including maintaining eye contact and smiling.
Generate sales in accordance with Original Penguin customer service standards.
Build a repeat customer base through effective PE Loyalty Program data capture.
Maintain knowledge of products, promotions, and special events to communicate effectively with customers.
Foster a positive store experience by treating customers and staff fairly and consistently.
Maintain effective floor coverage, acknowledge every customer, and prioritize customers over assigned tasks.
Stay productive throughout the shift by replenishing products, maintaining visual displays, and engaging with customers during idle time.
Report to work on time.
Demonstrate flexibility with the work schedule.
Understand individual and store sales goals.
Follow operational policies and procedures.
Follow management guidance to execute visual standards, recovery, and replenishment.
