About The Position

Lovesac is hiring a part-time Sales Associate at its Mashpee Commons location in Mashpee, Massachusetts. The associate connects with customers, helps them design furniture suited to their lifestyles and spaces, and delivers a customer-first shopping experience while representing the Lovesac brand. The role combines active selling and relationship building with supporting daily store operations. Associates work in a fast-paced retail environment and regularly cover high-traffic selling periods, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The position requires travel of up to 25%, including as required to local stores, third-party vendors, and occasional meetings. Physical duties include standing and walking for up to eight hours per shift, moving furniture weighing up to 75 pounds, assembling furniture on the selling floor, and performing actions such as bending, twisting, kneeling, reaching, stooping, crawling, and climbing.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
At least one year of experience in a retail or customer service role.
Must regularly work during high-traffic and peak selling periods, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
Ability to use technology for sales and customer support, demonstrate products, assist customers, and use internal CRM systems.
Ability to travel as required to local stores, third-party vendors, and occasional meetings using various forms of transportation.
Sound judgment, integrity, and trustworthiness in financial transactions and in handling sensitive business and customer data, customer privacy, and the comfort and safety of people and property.
Effective communication skills and ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational manner.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to eight hours per shift.
Ability to move objects, including medium to large furniture weighing up to 75 pounds, from lower to higher positions or horizontally between positions.
Ability to assemble furniture on the selling floor.
Ability to bend, twist, kneel, reach, stoop, crawl, and climb.

Responsibilities

Greet customers enthusiastically, actively sell using the Lovesac selling process, maintain a personal quote pipeline, and follow up with customers to drive conversion.
Build customer loyalty, repeat business, and brand advocacy through genuine connections and relationship building.
Guide customers through the entire sales journey by identifying their needs, providing exceptional service, and developing lasting client relationships.
Demonstrate product knowledge, provide engaging brand tours and product education, and confidently close sales.
Manage performance through sound decision-making and disciplined execution to meet and exceed sales goals and KPIs.
Contribute to an inclusive and respectful environment for customers and teammates, valuing diverse perspectives and belonging.
Demonstrate accountability, flexibility, willingness to learn, and responsiveness to feedback.
Support daily store operations, including opening and closing, inventory, visual standards, and promotions.
Use store systems and data to prioritize work and support efficient, customer-focused execution.
Follow brand standards, safety requirements, and policies; help maintain a positive team environment and protect the business.
Take on additional priorities and special projects as needed.
