About The Position

NORMAN’S, an employee-owned Hallmark Gold Crown retailer, is seeking a part-time Sales Associate for its Concordville Town Center location in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania. Sales Associates help customers commemorate special occasions, find comfort during challenging times, and celebrate everyday moments. They contribute to store sales goals and create a genuine, memorable customer experience by serving as an accessible source of knowledge on the sales floor, showing initiative, working as part of a team, and providing caring customer service.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
Ability to work a flexible schedule that meets business needs, including events, holidays, evenings, and weekends.
Strong aptitude for basic math, including percentages and general arithmetic.
Ability to continuously stand and walk; frequently push and pull; occasionally bend, stoop, crawl, reach above the shoulders, kneel, climb a ladder, and carry up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

Use the Customer CARE program to drive retail sales by genuinely connecting with customers, building relationships, and earning their business.
Put the customer first in all interactions.
Consistently meet store-specific Crown Rewards enrollment goals.
Learn and efficiently use the register system, maintaining cash register accuracy and providing a pleasant point-of-sale experience.
Use strong selling skills during customer interactions to build sales and customer satisfaction.
Proactively learn product knowledge for all merchandise and use it when assisting customers.
Maintain and restock displays as directed by store management.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
