About The Position

Primark is hiring a seasonal, part-time Sales Associate to help customers and maintain an organized, well-presented store. The role includes assisting customers with sizing, styles, purchases, and returns; keeping the shop floor, fitting rooms, and stockroom tidy; operating tills; and receiving and preparing merchandise for the sales floor. The starting base hourly rate is $15.00, with a $0.50 increase after six months and another $0.50 increase after one year of continued employment. The rate offered depends on the candidate’s geographic region of work.

The position requires standing and walking for extended periods, up to eight hours per shift, and frequent handling of merchandise. Reasonable accommodations are available as required by law. Depending on assigned responsibilities, colleagues may receive training and authorization to use balers and manual or electric pallet jacks; colleagues under 18 may not use this equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a positive experience by assisting with sizes, styles, purchases, and returns.
• Maintain a well-presented shop floor, full shelves, tidy fitting rooms, and an organized stockroom.
• Provide fast, friendly, and efficient service at till points, processing queries, voids, and returns.
• Receive, unpack, and check deliveries; move products to the shop floor and ensure they are correctly priced and meet store standards.
• When assigned, operate balers or manual or electric pallet jacks after receiving appropriate training and authorization.
