About The Position

The Sales Associate assists clientele and supports the operational and sales needs of the business. The role requires understanding the Lilly Pulitzer brand, its lifestyle, clients, merchandise, and heritage; demonstrating its selling culture; and delivering an exceptional client experience. The position is based in-store at a Lilly Pulitzer retail location and is classified as part-time, hourly, and non-exempt. Because of the seasonal nature of the business, flexible working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, may be required. The position is reviewed annually and requires collaboration in alignment with the company’s Core Values, as well as compliance with company policies and the Code of Conduct outlined in the Employee Handbook.

Requirements

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and management.
• Ability to be on your feet and maneuver around the store during shift hours.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Prior retail or client service experience in the fashion or retail industry.
• Prior knowledge of XStore and Tulip.

Responsibilities

• Understand the Lilly Pulitzer brand concept, including its lifestyle, clients, merchandise, and heritage.
• Demonstrate the Lilly Pulitzer selling culture and ensure a positive client experience.
• Drive sales through exceptional service, product knowledge, awareness of market trends, personalized outreach, active listening, and communication with clientele.
• Develop and maintain client relationships.
• Help maintain visual and operational standards established by the Visual and Retail Operations teams.
• Provide store management with ongoing feedback about sales opportunities and successes.
• Understand, embrace, and exhibit Lilly Pulitzer’s Core Values.
• Collaborate effectively with others in alignment with the company’s Core Values.
• Comply with Lilly Pulitzer policies and the Code of Conduct in the Employee Handbook.
