About The Position

PHOENIX Retail, LLC operates the Express and Bonobos brands. Express is a multichannel apparel brand focused on modern, confident, and effortless style, with more than 400 retail and outlet stores in the United States and Puerto Rico, an online store, and a mobile app.

Express is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to provide customers with a great in-store shopping experience. The role also includes supporting store operations through tasks such as stocking, cleaning, and folding merchandise. The position is at the Twelve Oaks store.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of relevant job experience; the posting gives a stated experience range of 0–2 years.
• Proficiency using technology such as iPads and registers.
• Availability that meets defined criteria, including nights, weekends, and non-business hours.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role.
• Customer service skills and ability to interact with customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly with customers, sales leadership, and associates.
• Collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, checkout, fitting room, and stock room to keep the store safe and inviting.
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure the safety of associates and customers.
• Assist with product launch changes according to company standard operating procedures.
• Deliver all aspects of the customer experience model.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately to reduce customer wait times.
• Resolve customer service issues positively, determine an appropriate resolution or escalate the matter, and communicate issues and resolutions to Store Management.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs by explaining their benefits and encouraging customer participation.
• Perform other essential functions as directed by a supervisor.
• Support store operations through tasks such as stocking, cleaning, and folding merchandise.
