About The Position

PHOENIX Retail, LLC is seeking a Retail Sales Associate for its Express brand at the Gonzales Outlets. The Sales Associate provides a great in-store shopping experience while assisting with tasks such as stocking, cleaning, and folding merchandise. The role includes maintaining an organized and safe store, supporting product launches, processing customer transactions, resolving service issues, and promoting credit and loyalty programs. Other essential functions may be assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of relevant job experience; the posting lists 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency using technology, including iPads and registers.
• Availability that meets defined criteria, including nights, weekends, and non-business hours.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role.
• Customer service skills and ability to interact with customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly with customers, sales leadership, and associates.
• Demonstrated collaboration skills and ability to work well within a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, checkout, fitting room, and stock room so the store is safe and inviting to customers.
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure the safety of associates and customers.
• Assist with product launch changes according to company standard operating procedures.
• Deliver on all aspects of the customer experience model.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately to reduce customer wait time.
• Positively resolve customer service-related issues, determine a resolution or escalate as appropriate, and communicate issues and resolutions to Store Management.
• Explain the benefits of credit and loyalty member programs and encourage customers to participate.
• Assist with stocking, cleaning, and folding merchandise.
• Perform other essential functions as directed by a supervisor.
