About The Position

A part-time Sales Associate drives sales and customer relationships by providing strong customer service and applying effective selling techniques. The role performs daily store functions, including merchandising and selling products, assisting customers, and maintaining the store. Key priorities are customer service, sales, and teamwork. The position requires flexibility in a fast-paced retail environment and may involve extended hours during critical project phases.

Requirements

Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Excellent command of English to communicate effectively with management, customers, and coworkers.
Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and a desire to work with customers in a retail setting.
Problem-solving, analytical, detail-orientation, flexibility, communication, and interpersonal skills to support customer service, inventory control, merchandise transport, and store maintenance.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service and sell appropriate merchandise while building customer relationships and upholding DTLR standards.
Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
Present a positive, energetic, and enthusiastic attitude to customers and toward the job and company.
Comply with company policies.
Participate in service training and product programs.
Follow visual standards, complete daily restocking, and ensure adequate size runs are represented according to visual directions.
Assist in preventing employee and customer theft.
Maintain a neat and orderly sales environment.
Help keep the store organized as directed by store management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
