About The Position

As a Sales Associate, you are the first face of the Carter’s brand for growing families. You welcome customers, help them find products for their families, and support a positive shopping experience in a busy retail environment. The role includes assisting customers with product information and omnichannel services, completing register transactions, replenishing merchandise, processing shipment, communicating promotions and loyalty programs, and helping maintain a safe and clean store. Availability may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Requirements

• Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
• Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and assist with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Proactively resolve customer issues and balance the needs of multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Assist with omnichannel services as needed to meet customer needs and ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point-of-sale/register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment as needed.
• Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
