Seasonal Part Time Sales Associate
About The Position
The Seasonal Part Time Sales Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfactory customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The role adheres to operational, merchandise, loss prevention, labor, and safety standards, and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The associate supports a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect; accurately processes purchases and returns; promotes credit and loyalty programs; and processes and presents merchandise according to company procedures. The role also participates in store recovery, cleanliness, shrink-reduction, and safety activities, and performs other duties as assigned. This is a seasonal, part-time position at the Marshalls store at 379 Stoneridge Lane in Gahanna, Ohio. Starting pay is $13.50 to $14.00 per hour, with actual pay determined by relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities
- Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers and following established customer experience practices.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow the merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards, and participate in maintaining the entire store.
- Give and receive recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
