About The Position

At OneMain, Sales Associates are the initial contact for customers with a variety of financial needs. They listen to customers, understand their financial situations, and help identify appropriate OneMain products or services. The role serves new and previous customers seeking additional financing or insurance options and requires strong knowledge of OneMain’s personal lending products and motivation to meet or exceed goals. It is performed in a call center environment.

Sales Associates contact customers through outbound calls and respond to inbound calls, process applications for multiple personal lending products, and market and sell OneMain’s lending products and services. They provide exemplary customer service, apply strategies to drive growth, review credit bureau reports, maintain product and policy knowledge, and support compliance. The position is scheduled for 40 hours per week within operating hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The schedule includes at least one Saturday per month and some extended hours at the end of each month.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Sense of urgency in meeting or exceeding application processing goals.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of experience in inside sales, customer service, retail, or a call center environment.
• Basic understanding of credit or personal finance concepts.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities
