About The Position

The Sales Associate generates sales by demonstrating passion for product, brands, fashion, and trends. The role executes initiatives and tasks assigned by the leadership team, contributes positively to the store team, and consistently provides an exceptional customer experience. The position is part-time and requires availability for 20–40 hours per week, including weekends, nights, and peak holiday periods. The associate delivers engaging and authentic customer service, supports sales and operational goals, executes visual and digital sales strategies, and maintains a safe, organized, and clean store environment. The role also requires compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and loss-prevention requirements.

Requirements

Passion for product, brands, fashion, and trends.
Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Strong communication skills.
Excellent time-management skills.
Proficiency in math and strong computer skills.
Ability to work 20–40 hours per week, including weekends, nights, and peak holiday periods.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
Ability to frequently sit or stand for long periods and climb ladders as needed.
Ability to maneuver around the sales floor, stockroom, and office areas.
Ability to work in an open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver an engaging, positive, and authentic customer experience.
Focus on full-price selling while maintaining awareness of product value and promotions.
Handle customer situations in accordance with policy and procedures, attempt to resolve issues, and involve leadership in escalated matters.
Complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
Execute visual directives and maintain company visual standards as directed by management.
Maintain organization and cleanliness and promote a safe working and shopping environment.
Comply with company policies, the Code of Business Conduct, the Employee Policy Guide, and the Safety Program.
Follow Loss Prevention policies and communicate violations to leadership or through the Silent Witness Hotline.
Share customer feedback with the leadership team to improve the customer experience.
Participate in company and store contests and events and stay current on financial goals and priorities.
Support the leadership team in achieving sales and operational goals.
Support and execute digital sales strategies, including ship-from-store and BOPIS.
Demonstrate the PacSun brand's passion for product, brands, fashion, and trends.
Contribute to a positive working environment by exhibiting core value behaviors.
Maintain the company's fashion image by following Employee Appearance Guidelines.
