About The Position

J.Jill is seeking a passionate, customer-focused, results-driven part-time Sales Associate to build customer relationships and create a welcoming, positive shopping experience in the store and community. The associate provides personalized service and styling advice, helps customers find products, and contributes to store sales goals. They develop knowledge of J.Jill merchandise, maintain visual merchandising and floor-set standards, support store operations, and collaborate with teammates in an inclusive and supportive environment. Additional responsibilities may be assigned to support store success.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role, including extensive standing, walking, reaching, bending, pushing and pulling, maneuvering around the store, hanging and folding merchandise, climbing ladders, operating POS registers and company mobile devices, and lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds; ability to team lift.

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful connections with customers by providing personalized service and styling advice.
• Help customers find products and contribute to a seamless shopping experience and sales goals.
• Develop knowledge of J.Jill merchandise to provide guidance and recommendations.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and execute floor sets.
• Participate in operational functions, including marketing, product processing and replenishment, markdowns and promotions, store cleanliness, and backroom organization.
• Work with team members to foster a positive and supportive work environment.
• Address customer needs and concerns with a friendly, solution-oriented approach.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
