About The Position

The Seasonal Sales Associate supports store sales and day-to-day operations at the Michigan Avenue location. The role provides customer service according to UNIQLO service standards, helps maintain merchandise and store presentation, and assists with sales-floor and stockroom activities. Starting pay is $17.50 per hour. This is a seasonal position with a minimum requirement of 12 hours per week and weekend availability; religious exemptions are considered.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions.
Ability to work a flexible schedule that meets business needs, including evenings and weekends.
Ability to stand for extended periods and read computer terminals.
Ability to push, pull, or move objects weighing at least 25 pounds.
Ability to maneuver effectively around the sales floor and stockroom, including repetitive bending, prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, squatting, and climbing.
For part-time/seasonal work: minimum of 12 hours per week.
Weekend availability; religious exemptions are considered.

Responsibilities

Meet and exceed sales goals.
Maintain brand and operational standards, including visual presentation and cleanliness.
Address customer needs and exceed expectations by following UNIQLO service standards, Fundamental Principles, and six standard phrases.
Know fitting-room standards and provide assistance when needed.
Work as a cashier when required and follow cashier protocol.
Process shipments and ensure merchandise is represented on the sales floor in a full size run.
Assist management in identifying and resolving store issues.
Provide customers with product and brand knowledge.
Follow company policies and procedures and notify management of infractions.
Assist with special projects as assigned by management.
