Requirements

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Dependable, punctual, and ready to work scheduled shift
Maintains a clean, appropriate and professional appearance aligned with company standards
Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs as needed
Ability to bend, reach, and move quickly in a fast paced environment

Responsibilities

Provide an upscale, welcoming, friendly experience for every customer, by using engaging language like “Welcome to Mega Saver” and “Absolutely”
Actively promote Mega Saver’s Loyalty Card and App to every customer.
Inform customers about our deals
Engage and promote ongoing promotions to maximize sales opportunities by upselling and cross selling.
Accurately handle multiple forms of payment including cash, credit/debit, and other accepted tenders
Comply with all cash handling procedures and company standards to minimize shortages and overages
Follow all guidelines related to restricted sales (alcohol, tobacco, lottery) in accordance with state and federal law
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, checkout area, outside lot, trash, and restrooms
Handle customer inquiries professionally via phone or in person, providing clear information about products and store policies.
Assist with inventory management by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and managing product replenishment.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
Performs additional duties as needed and assigned by management
