About The Position

KidsCare Home Health is immediately hiring Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) in the Austin area to provide one-on-one pediatric care in a home setting. Requirements

Current State Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN) License.
Current CPR Certification.
Must have reliable transportation to office and patients’ homes.

Nice To Haves

One (1) Year Home Health Experience Preferred
One (1) Year Pediatric Experience Preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to infants, children, and adolescents in their home according to the active plan of care.
Provide services in accordance with physician's orders and adhere to state, federal, and national accreditation commission regulations.
Perform comprehensive patient assessments.
Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered.
Document timely, clear, concise, and accurate clinical notes.
Notify the RN Case Manager of any changes in the patient’s condition.
Provide and document education to patients and their families on diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure quality care.
Use appropriate infection control procedures and safety measures.
Comply with all company policies, practices, and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
