About The Position

PHOENIX Retail, LLC is a retail platform operating the Express and Bonobos brands. Express is a multichannel apparel brand focused on modern, confident, and effortless style. The Sales Associate joins the Express team at Meadowood Mall and helps provide customers with a great in-store shopping experience, while also completing tasks such as stocking, cleaning, and folding merchandise.

The role involves maintaining clean and organized sales, checkout, fitting-room, and stock-room areas; following company policies and procedures; and assisting with product-launch changes according to company standard operating procedures. Associates deliver the customer experience model, process transactions accurately and efficiently, address customer-service issues or escalate them to Store Management, and promote credit and loyalty programs. Other essential functions may be assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of relevant job experience; the posting lists 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in using technology, including iPads and registers.
• Meet defined availability criteria, including nights, weekends, and non-business hours.
• Meet the physical requirements of the role.
• Customer service skills and ability to interact with customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, specifically with customers, the sales leadership team, and associates.
• Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.

• Previous retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, checkout, fitting room, and stock room so the store is safe and inviting to customers.
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure the safety of associates and customers.
• Assist with product launch changes according to company standard operating procedures.
• Deliver on all aspects of the customer experience model.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately to reduce customer wait time.
• Positively resolve customer service-related issues, determine a resolution or escalate the issue, and communicate issues and resolutions to Store Management.
• Drive credit and loyalty member programs by explaining benefits and encouraging customer participation.
• Assist with stocking, cleaning, folding merchandise, and other tasks as directed by a supervisor.
