About The Position

Van Cleef & Arpels is seeking a Sales Associate to contribute to sales and client development in a luxury boutique environment. Reporting to the Boutique Director, the role is responsible for achieving sales goals, balancing daily business with High Jewelry sales, and developing a network of loyal clients. The position involves delivering exceptional service, building lasting client relationships, supporting clienteling and CRM initiatives, and helping maintain the Boutique’s aesthetic quality. Travel may be required.

The Maison provides training on its history, know-how, and creations, and emphasizes employee career development. Applicants must have valid work authorization for employment in the USA. Compensation is negotiated based on skills and prior work experience; the role is commission eligible and lists an hourly salary of $24.04.

Requirements

• Strong ability to develop long-lasting client relationships in a fast-paced luxury environment.
• Natural curiosity for people and an inherent need to provide excellent service.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and in writing.
• Valid work authorization for employment in the USA.

Nice To Haves

• A bachelor’s degree or jewelry certification with 7 years of experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals by providing exceptional service.
• Attend community social functions to generate new business, invite current and prospective clients to in-boutique events, and reach out through curated clienteling tools.
• Oversee CRM initiatives, including client data capture and accuracy, communication about novelties and events, gifting campaigns, and clientele reporting.
• Assist with display setup each morning and display breakdown in the evening, and maintain the Boutique’s aesthetic quality.
• Travel as required.
