About The Position

The Sales Associate delivers a high-quality eye care and eyewear experience for every patient and customer, helping establish LensCrafters as the premier destination for vision needs in the community. The role supports sales objectives by building customer relationships, recommending lenses and coatings based on optical prescriptions, and helping customers select frames that work with their optical measurements. The Sales Associate also takes measurements using optical tools, consults with an Optician as needed, contributes to a positive and inclusive store environment, and helps keep displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of experience in retail or customer service.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, computers, and calculators, as well as basic phone and math skills.
Ability to embrace new technology and change with a high level of accuracy.
Ability to sell using sales skills and take accountability for sales results, with a desire to meet goals.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Self-motivated, with demonstrated ability to multitask and respond flexibly in a quickly changing environment.

Responsibilities

Consistently deliver sales plans and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
Use optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
Assist patients with frame selection and coordinate frames with optical measurements to help customers choose vision solutions.
Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with an Optician as needed.
Contribute to a positive store environment and foster professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
Maintain the appearance of the store and keep displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
Help foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
