About The Position

PHOENIX Retail, LLC operates the Express and Bonobos brands. Express is a multichannel apparel brand focused on modern, confident and effortless style, with retail and outlet stores in the United States and Puerto Rico, an online store, and a mobile app. The Sales Associate at the Kildeer Village Square store helps provide customers with a great in-store shopping experience and supports store operations, including stocking, cleaning and folding merchandise. The role maintains store areas, assists with product launches, processes transactions, resolves customer service issues, and promotes credit and loyalty programs.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of relevant job experience; the posting lists 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency with technology such as iPads and registers.
• Meet defined availability criteria, including nights, weekends and non-business hours.
• Meet the physical requirements of the role.
• Customer service skills and ability to interact with customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly with customers, the sales leadership team and associates.
• Collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Currently authorized to work full-time in the United States; the employer does not sponsor work visas.

• Previous retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, checkout, fitting room and stock room so the store is safe and inviting.
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure the safety of associates and customers.
• Assist with product launch changes according to company standard operating procedures.
• Deliver all aspects of the customer experience model.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately to reduce customer wait times.
• Resolve customer service issues positively, determine the appropriate resolution or escalate them, and communicate issues and resolutions to Store Management.
• Explain the benefits of credit and loyalty member programs and encourage customers to participate.
• Perform other essential functions as directed by a supervisor.
• Assist with additional store tasks, including stocking, cleaning and folding merchandise.
