About The Position

They are looking for an enthusiastic, collaborative individual to join their Retail Team as a Sales Associate at their Centre de liquidation EQ3 Laval location in a full-time capacity. This role involves acting as a brand ambassador, ensuring a positive customer experience, assisting with item selection, suggesting additional items, processing payments, reconciling daily reports, maintaining storefront appearance, handling returns, and supporting management with promotions and the warehouse team with client contact, scheduling, and order accuracy.

Requirements

• Experience selling in a retail environment
• High school diploma
• Proficiency in retail operations and systems (Point of Sale, Microsoft Office)
• A high standard of quality when it comes to customer service, performance, accuracy, and sales goals
• The ability to self-motivate, organize, and be persuasive in their communication style
• The ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stay on your feet for extended periods of time

Nice To Haves

• Post-secondary experience in sales and retail customer service

Responsibilities

• Act as an ambassador of the brand, taking care to ensure every customer feels like a guest in their home.
• Give a positive first impression, find the items customers need, and suggest additional items to help build their dream space.
• Help customers check out and process their payment.
• Reconcile daily payments and storis reports with total sales.
• Work with the team to keep the storefront clean, organized, and visually appealing.
• Handle return/go-back items.
• Support management in promotions and customer events.
• Support the warehouse team with contacting clients, scheduling pickups/deliveries, and ensuring the accuracy of orders.
