About The Position

The Sales Associate sets the standard for quality in eye care and eyewear by ensuring each patient and customer has a positive experience at For Eyes. The role helps establish For Eyes as a premier destination in the community for vision needs. The associate supports sales objectives, assists customers with eyewear and vision solutions, and contributes to an inclusive, organized, and positive store environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of retail or customer service experience.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, computers, and calculators, as well as basic phone and math skills.
• Ability to embrace new technology and change with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to sell using sales skills and take accountability for sales results, with a desire to meet goals.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Self-motivation and demonstrated ability to multitask and respond flexibly in a quickly changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales plans and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Use optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
• Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements to help customers choose an appropriate vision solution.
• Conduct measurements with appropriate optical tools and consult with an Optician as needed.
• Contribute to a positive store environment and build professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
• Maintain the appearance of the store and keep displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
• Foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
