About The Position

NORMAN’S, an employee-owned Hallmark Gold Crown retailer, is hiring a part-time Sales Associate for its Manoa Shopping Center location in Havertown, Pennsylvania. Sales Associates help customers celebrate meaningful occasions and everyday moments by providing a genuine, memorable customer experience. They contribute to store goals, create a caring team atmosphere, and serve as an accessible source of product knowledge on the sales floor. The role calls for initiative, teamwork, and excellence throughout the customer experience.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age.
Ability to work a flexible schedule that meets business needs, including events, holidays, evenings, and weekends.
Strong aptitude for basic math, including percentages and general arithmetic.
Ability to continuously stand and walk; frequently push and pull; occasionally bend, stoop, crawl, reach above the shoulders, kneel, climb a ladder, and carry up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

Use the Customer CARE program to drive retail sales by connecting genuinely with customers, building relationships, and earning their business.
Put the customer first and recognize the customer as the most important individual to the business.
Consistently meet store-specific Crown Rewards enrollment goals.
Learn and use the register system efficiently, providing a pleasant point-of-sale experience and maintaining cash register accuracy.
Use strong selling skills during customer interactions to build sales and customer satisfaction.
Learn product knowledge for all merchandise and apply it when assisting customers.
Maintain and restock displays as directed by store management.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
