About The Position

The Sales Associate works to achieve sales goals and develop lasting client relationships by providing the highest level of customer service and complying with company policies, procedures, and directives.

The role includes generating sales, developing and maintaining client relationships, providing customer service, and supporting store operations. The associate demonstrates knowledge of merchandise and fashion trends, follows through on customer requests after sales, maintains the selling floor and stock, handles register and inventory-related tasks, and participates in training as directed by store management. A minimum of two years of retail experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Meet sales goals and use elevated levels of sales and service to maximize sales performance.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of merchandise and maintain an interest in the fashion industry and market trends.
• Monitor post-sale details, including shipping, alterations when applicable, and special requests, to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Comply with sales-related policies and procedures.
• Provide the highest level of customer service and build and maintain repeat clientele using the client book.
• Resolve client problems and complaints quickly and effectively, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Keep the selling floor and merchandise neat, organized, and stocked.
• Assist with inventory maintenance in the stockroom and on the selling floor.
• Assist with stock, shipping, receiving protocols and policies, and related paperwork.
• Participate in inventories and comply with Point-of-Sale policies and procedures.
• Properly execute relevant register functions.
• Adhere to the work schedule, including time and attendance requirements.
• Participate in relevant training and development seminars, programs, and meetings as directed by store management.
