About The Position

As a Sales Associate, you are the first face of the Carter’s brand for growing families. You welcome customers and help them find products for their family’s needs, from baby essentials to children’s clothing. You work in a welcoming and inclusive environment that values and develops team members’ skills and talents. The role involves customer service in a busy retail setting, point-of-sale transactions, store replenishment and shipment tasks, and maintaining a safe, clean store. Availability may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Requirements

• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
• Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Proactively resolve customer issues and balance the needs of multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Assist customers with omnichannel services as needed to provide a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point-of-sale/register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
• Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Help minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
