About The Position
PHOENIX Retail, LLC is a retail platform operating the Express and Bonobos brands worldwide. Express is a multichannel apparel brand focused on modern, confident, and effortless style, operating retail and outlet stores, an online store, and a mobile app. The Sales Associate at the Glendale Galleria provides a great in-store shopping experience while supporting store operations such as stocking, cleaning, and folding merchandise. The role includes maintaining safe, clean, and organized customer and work areas; supporting product launches; accurately processing transactions; resolving or escalating customer service issues; and promoting credit and loyalty programs. Associates follow company policies and procedures and perform other essential functions as directed by their supervisor.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent.
- 0–2 years of relevant job experience, with a minimum of 6 months.
- Proficient in using technology, including iPads and registers.
- Meet defined availability criteria, including nights, weekends, and non-business hours.
- Meet the physical requirements of the role.
- Customer service skills and ability to interact with customers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly with customers, sales leadership, and associates.
- Collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.

Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, checkout, fitting room, and stock room to ensure the store is safe and inviting to customers.
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure the safety of associates and customers.
- Assist with product launch changes according to company standard operating procedures.
- Deliver all aspects of the customer experience model.
- Process transactions quickly and accurately to reduce customer wait times.
- Resolve customer service-related issues positively, determine a resolution or escalate the issue, and communicate issues and resolutions to Store Management.
- Promote credit and loyalty member programs by explaining their benefits and encouraging customer participation.
- Assist with additional store tasks, including stocking, cleaning, and folding merchandise.
- Perform other essential functions as directed by a supervisor.
